Goals

Set a goal, write it down, and release the outcome - Small steps make a big difference.

From what I understand to "release the outcome" means to let go of how it will turn out. I'm glad we've already hit "release" in this endeavor - thought this new context may partially redefine my concept of letting go.

I think there is a huge element of trust embedded in these seemingly simple acts. Set a goal, write it down, trust yourself and the universe and all will be well. I've heard many people swear to such things and I've seen it work - though I find that setting the goal and writing it down are not enough. It does usually require a change.. or perhaps shift in focus and attention.

Small steps do indeed make a difference - ALL steps, regardless of size, change your location. With a new location comes new experience, new possibilities and new hope. Every time we place one foot in front of the other we decrease the distance between us and whatever else lies on our path. If we pay attention, we can use every step fully and allow it to teach us everything it has to offer.

Writing it down brings the aforementioned goals to the front of our minds where we will see and acknowledge them with greater frequency. This greater awareness of our dreams, I believe, is instrumental in the achievement of it. In order to reach a goal we don't need to know the precise layout of the trail - but we do need to know which direction we are headed in. We also make the decision to MOVE. Charge forward :-)

Love,
M
